NFL MVP Prediction 2021-2022

The odds are out for who will take the title of Most Valuable Player in the 2021-2022 season. The list might surprise you, especially the player with the fifth-best odds. Though this list will change as the season goes on, we can get a good idea of who to bet on. A couple of the players on the list are former MVP’s which gives them better odds this year.

Before we make our prediction for who will take the MVP award home with them, let’s go over each of the players with the top three odds. That way you can review each of the most likely players to take the throne as well.

QB, Patrick Mahomes: +450 MVP Odds

Quarterback and leader of the Kansas City Chiefs have the absolute best odds to win the MVP this year. The next closest player has +1000 odds, making Mahomes the clear favorite heading into the season. The Chiefs have revamped their offensive line, bringing in players like G Kyle Long and Joe Thuney. This nearly guarantees the Chiefs to have the most dynamic offense in the NFL. More importantly, that Patrick Mahomes can put up unforeseen numbers, which is why oddsmakers are giving him such great odds.

QB, Aaron Rodgers: +1000 MVP Odds

Coming in with the second-best odds to win the MVP this season is quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers won the MVP title last year when he had a historic season that culminated in a trip to the NFC Championship game. Unfortunately, their loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who went on to win the Super Bowl, overshadowed Rodgers’ season. During the offseason, trouble mounted between Rodgers and the Packers organization. It’s still unknown as to whether this issue will be resolved by the end of the season. Regardless of where he plays though, Aaron Rodgers is MVP caliber every season.

QB, Josh Allen: +1100

Josh Allen actually beat out Tom Brady for the third-best odds to win the MVP. BetOnline has Allen’s odds at +1100. This is shocking considering Brady is coming off a Super Bowl win. However, it should be noted that the Buffalo Bills had the second-best offense in the league. Their success in due in large part to Josh Allen, who has notoriously led the team since his rookie season. Last season, Allen led his team all the way to the AFC Championship. Unfortunately, much like Rodgers, that’s where Allen and the Bills fell short. The team they lost to? The Kansas City Chiefs, led by Patrick Mahomes.

Our Pick To Win The MVP: Patrick Mahomes +450

Although we don’t like normally picking favorites, Patrick Mahomes really does have the best chance this year. The Aaron Rodgers situation in Green Bay puts him at risk for missing games throughout the season. Josh Allen, although a viable option, has been overshadowed by Mahomes in the AFC. After losing the Super Bowl, Patrick Mahomes will have a historic season in 2021. With the additions the staff has made on the offensive line, the only smart bet to make here is for Mahomes to win the MVP.
