St. Louis Wins Back-to-Back Games
The St. Louis Blues are 5-4-1 (11 pts) and after a slow start, they’re building momentum on the back of a two-game winning streak. The Blues will face the Winnipeg Jets, who are 5-4-1 (12 pts), in a Central Division showdown. The Jets have 36 goals scored, 11 more than the Blues, and enter the matchup as the favorites, but St. Louis is 4-1-0 at home.
I like the Blues in this one. The Jets may have more goals than the Blues, but they also have more goals allowed. Winnipeg has given up 39 totals goals, while St. Louis has allowed only 28. At home, the Blues have dominated, recording 3.4 goals per game to just 2.6 goals against. The Jets beat the the Blue 4-2 earlier this season in Winnipeg, but St. Louis will even the series tomorrow night on their home ice.
So for our Jets vs. Blues expert pick, take the St. Louis Blues Moneyline (+114) on Tuesday.
