Rangers look to build on Tampa Bay win 

The Rangers are coming off of a nice win to start the season. They beat the defending Eastern Conference champions to start the season off on the right foot as they beat them 3-1 behind Igor Shesterskin saving 25 out of 26 shots. 

The Jets have yet to play this season. The Jets missed the playoffs last year by eight points. They ended the season on a four game win streak but finished 39-32-11 and out of the playoffs.

I like the Jets in this game. The Rangers are on the second half of a back to back on this one. They are most likely, though not confirmed, going to be starting their second string in this one. Even though the Rangers are a playoff team and will probably be better this season, the Jets are well rested and are opening up at home.
