SMU started the season off well as they won their first two games over North Texas and Lamar very easily. They then lost two close games to Maryland and a ranked TCU team. SMU had their worst week of the season last season as they lost 41-19 to UCF.

Navy started off the season with two straight losses. They hosted Delaware and lost 14-7. They then were destroyed by Memphis at home 37-13. After that they picked up a big win over East Carolina in overtime 23-10. They are coming off of another win over Tulsa 51-21.

I like SMU to cover here. They are at home and are clearly the better team. This line has already moved in their favor. SMU hasn’t covered in four straight games but I think that is going to change here. People are going to overreact to Navy’s big win last Saturday. You have to remember this SMU team almost beat 13th ranked TCU.
