Padres look to surprise Dodgers

The Dodgers just completed one of the greatest regular seasons in MLB history. They didn’t start the playoffs off right though. They beat the Padres in game one but then dropped game two in a game that would’ve given them a 2-0 lead. 

The Padres are coming off of a big upset of the Mets in the Wild Card. They then upset the Dodgers in game two to make this a 1-1 series. This now becomes a three game series. The Padres will get their first game at home this postseason. 

Tony Gonsolin will be facing Blake Snell in this one. Snell was not good in his first starts this season. He only gave up two runs but was taken out in the fourth inning. Gonsolin was one of the best pitchers in baseball this week with a 16-1 record and a 2.14 ERA. He has given up 0 or 1 runs in the last five starts. I like the Dodgers to win this game behind Gonsolin’s arm. He is almost automatically going to give you five innings of less than three runs. With how inconsistent Snell is I love the Dodgers here.
