After losing their season opener, the Senators rallied back and are now 2-1, recording back-to-back wins by a score of 5-2. Ottawa has 13 goals for and 9 goals against, making the Senators the favorites over the Washington Capitals who have struggled to find the back of the net. 

The Capitals went 1-1 in their first two games of the season, but have just 3 goals for. Washington has allowed 6 goals against, giving them a goal differential of -3, and the Capitals will struggle to keep the Senators off the scoreboard. Washington is allowing the 2nd-most shots against at 37.5 per game, meaning Ottawa will have plenty of opportunities to score.
