Matchup: Dallas Mavericks vs. Golden State Warriors

The Dallas Mavericks will take on the Golden State Warriors this Tuesday in a must-win game for either team. Dallas is red-hot, winning 7-straight and 9 of their last 10, earning the Mavs the 5th seed in the West. The Warriors are also streaking, winning 4-straight and 5 of their last 7, but Golden State sits on the precipice of elimination as 10th in the West. If Golden State is going to make the postseason, they’ll almost certainly have to go through the play-in, but even with less than 10 games left on the schedule, nothing is certain. A loss for either the Warriors or the Mavericks would be a drastic setback, which means we’ll see a hard-fought game with a postseason-like atmosphere.

Below you’ll find all of our picks for the Mavericks vs. Warriors game, including stats, scores, and advice. We’ll help you navigate the odds and provide helpful betting tips for Tuesday’s matchup between the Mavericks and Warriors.

Mavericks vs. Warriors History

Tuesday night marks the 175th all-time meeting between Golden State and Dallas. The Mavericks lead the 44 year old series with a 92-82 record against the Warriors. So far this season Golden State has been unable to beat the Mavs, posting an 0-2 record against Dallas, losing by 10-points (132-122 & 109-99) in each game. Golden State is at home on Tuesday, but home-court advantage hasn’t been an asset for the Warriors this season, as they are 18-19 in the Chase Center. Dallas on the other hand travels well, posting a 23-14 road record.

Mavericks vs. Warriors Game Predictions

It’ll be tight, but I’m going with the Dallas Mavericks in this one. Golden State has struggled against Dallas, giving up a combined 53-points per game to the Mavs top-two scorers, Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving. In their last 10 games the Warriors gave up 109.7 opponent points per game, but Golden State has given up 120.5 points per game in their two previous matchups with Dallas. The Warriors don’t pair well with the Mavs, as Golden State’s Steph Curry is their only reliable scorer, while Dallas has two All-Stars who can take over a game.  The Mavericks’ gamble to pair generational talent Luka Doncic with veteran point guard Kyrie Irving has paid off, and when Dallas is in a shooting groove, as they are now (FG% 50.2% in last 10 games), the Mavs are tough to beat.

In summary, here are my picks for the Mavericks vs. Warriors Tuesday night matchup:

  • Moneyline Pick: Dallas Mavericks (-105)

If you take the Mavericks Moneyline (-105): You risk $105 to win $100, for a total payout of $205, if the Mavericks win straight up.

  • ATS Pick: Dallas Mavericks (+1.0)

If you take the Mavericks to Cover the +1.0 Spread (-110): You risk $110 to win $100, for a total payout of $210, if the Mavericks win the game, or lose by just 1 point.

  • O/U Pick: Over (235)

If you take the Over on 235 total points (-110): You risk $110 to win $100, for a total payout of $210, if the Mavericks and Warriors combine for more than 235 points.
