O’s visit Jays

After a poor start to the season the Blue Jays have really started to play well. They have won six of their last 10 games and are now 36-24 on the season. They are now eight games behind the Yankees for the division lead. They are coming off two straight wins over the Tigers and Orioles.

The Orioles are now 26-36 on the season. I think they are exceeding expectations this season. In the next couple of seasons they could be a sneaky contender. They are now coming off of a 11-1 loss to the Blue Jays last night.

I like this game to go over again. Bruce Zimmerman will be on the mound for the Orioles and he has not been good this year with a 2-5 record and a 5.52 era. He is coming off of three straight losses and has a ridiculous era of 9.64 over his last five starts. The Blue Jays will have Berrios on the mound who has a 5-2 record. If you look deeper though you will see that Berrios hasn’t been very good as he has a 4.73 ERA.
