NLDS Game 4 Guaranteed in Braves vs. Phillies Series
Game 3 between the Braves and Phillies is going down tonight, and you can check out our breakdown of that game at OSB Sports, but regardless of tonight’s winner, a Game 4 is guaranteed.
In Game 1, the Phillies became the only team to shutout Atlanta at home this season, but I’m chalking that up as a fluke. The Braves remain the best offense in the MLB, having led the league in runs (947), hits (1543), RBI’s (916), and home runs (307) during the regular season, and there’s no way Philadelphia keeps Atlanta off the scoreboard again.
The Braves and Phillies are tied 1-1 heading into Game 3, and whoever wins will have a 2-1 advantage for Thursday’s matchup. Game 4 will be the final game of the series if the Braves pull off back-to-back wins, and I like their chances to do so. According to Pointsbet.com, the Braves remain the favorite to win the World Series. The sportsbooks are confident the Braves will advance, and so are we. Atlanta will win Game 3 and 4 over the Phillies, and qualify for the NLCS.
