Kentucky is ranked 7th in the nation right now. They will also be getting their top rusher from last season, Chris Rodrigues Jr., who was serving a four game suspension. You usually think of Kentucky as a football school but they are proving that wrong this season.

Ole Miss is also 4-0 on the season. The reason they are ranked so low is because they really haven’t played anyone this season. They will get Kentucky here at home which is a big advantage in the SEC. Lane Kiffin will try to get his team to 5-0.

You may be wondering why the lower ranked team is favored by almost a touchdown here. It might be because Kentucky was a 26 point favorite last week at home against Northern Illinois. They struggled and only ended up winning the game by eight points. Don’t look to far into the rankings here, Ole Miss just hasn’t faced enough competition yet while Kentucky got a lot of credit for beating a ranked Florida team that has since fallen off.
