Jacksonville State looks to bounce back

Western Kentucky has looked pretty good this year sitting at 4-2 but are undefeated in conference play. Their 2 losses have come at the hand of Ohio State and then a heartbreaker to Troy 27-24. They are the complete opposite of their opponents offense. WKU has been stellar through the air with a top 25 passing offense but terrible on the ground ranking 122nd in the country. They have been putting up points ranking in the top 50 scoring wise. They have been worse on the other side of the ball but still serviceable ranking 92nd.

Jacksonville State has had a solid season so far but fell to Liberty last week dropping them to 5-2. They started off well but ran out of steam for the second half. The offense has been solid but simply can’t pass the ball ranking 121st. They rely on a stellar run game ranked 17th in the country this leaves them middle of the pack at 78th in total offense. The defense is the strong point of this team ranked 32nd in the country. This team needs to start moving the ball through the air if they want to compete and get back atop conference usa.
