Middle Tenn has not looked but last week picked up their second win moving them to 2-5. This ended a 3 game losing streak and got them their first conference win of the season. The Middle Tennessee offense has been solid this year ranked 75th nationally behind Vattiato. The rushing game is their weakness ranked 112th they have been strong through the air ranking 41st. The defense has also been decent, ranking 82nd. This team has been killed by turnovers with one of the worst differentials in the nation. If they can clean up the turnovers they could keep this game close.

Liberty has looked exceptional this year with a 6-0 start. They are eligible already and are 4-0 in conference play. This team is carried by the offense which looks like one of the best in the country. They sit 12th in total offense behind a top 3 rushing attack and a solid passing attack that ranks in the 70s. Stopping the ground game is key against the Flames. Defensively this team is also great sitting 18th in the country. They are pretty balanced being solid against run or pass.
