Maple Leafs host Capitals in home opener

Toronto is coming off of a disappointing season where they lost to the Tampa Bay Lighting in seven games in the first round. They haven’t gotten out of the first round in a long time. 

The Capitals still have Alexander Ovechkin on the roster. After winning their championship in 2018 they have made multiple changes to the roster but Ovechkin has remained as the one constant.

I like the over here. Toronto was incredible last season when it came to scoring goals. They were second in the Eastern Conference in goals scored. With the 37 year old Ovechkin still driving this offense I think the Capitals can put up some goals. I think this game will end up being a shootout.
