Player to Score a Touchdown: Christian McCaffrey & Isiah Pacheco (+149)
Running backs Christian McCaffrey and Isiah Pacheco will have a big impact on the Super Bowl. Both running backs have scored in every game this postseason for their respective team, with a combined 7 rushing touchdowns between them (McCaffrey: 4; Pacheco: 3). CMC is as close to a guaranteed touchdown as a player can get, recording at least one touchdown in 13 of his 16 regular season games, with 21 total scores on the season. Pacheco wasn’t as successful as McCaffrey, but in the playoffs, the Chiefs starting running back has at least 1 score per game. Both backs are the go-to option when their teams are in the redzone, and I’m predicting both McCaffrey and Picheco will cross the goal line in the Super Bowl.
Player Total Interceptions: Brock Purdy: Over 0.5 & Patrick Mahomes: Under 0.5 (+230)
The battle between starting quarterbacks in the Super Bowl is always a great matchup. This year we have two quarterbacks at diametrically opposing positions in their careers. For one, we have Patrick Mahomes: the 2x MVP, 2x Super Bowl MVP, and 2x Super Bowl champion quarterback, making his 4th Super Bowl appearance at just 28-years old. On the other side we have Mr. Irrelevant himself, quarterback Brock Purdy, who was the last pick of the 2022 NFL draft, but is now making his first Super Bowl appearance. They’re both great players, but Mahomes has been here before, and that experience will carry him to another successful game, while Purdy will be dealing with not only his nerves, but a suffocating Kansas City defense. Purdy will throw at least 1 interception, but Mahomes will be turnover free.
