TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS AT DALLAS COWBOYS- NFL WEEK 15 PREVIEW AND PICK

BetAnySports Game Line: Dallas -7

BetAnySports Total Line: 46

The surprising Tampa Bay Buccaneers will look to stay on a roll this Sunday night in a trip to AT&T Stadium to square off against the Dallas Cowboys. Kickoff for this prime time NFC tilt is is set for 8:30 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on NBC.

Tampa Bay at Dallas Game Preview

Tampa Bay has run its current winning streak to five games both straight-up and against the spread with last Sunday’s 16-11 victory against New Orleans as a two-point home favorite. This run has the Buccaneers tied with Atlanta for first place in the NFC South at 8-5 (SU and ATS). The total stayed well UNDER BetAnySports’ closing 51.5-point line in that game and it has stayed UNDER or ended as a PUSH in their last four outings. They come into this game with a 7-3 record ATS this season when closing as underdogs.

While it has not always been pretty, Tampa Bay’s offense under the guidance of second-year quarterback Jameis Winston has been effective with 355.2 average yards of offense and 22.5 points a game. Mike Evans has been his biggest target in the passing game with 80 receptions for 1,100 yards and 10 scores. Another big plus has been an opportunistic defense that is tied for first in the league in takeaways (25).

The Cowboys are 11-2 SU on the year with a solid 9-3-1 record ATS, but they are coming off another loss to the rival New York Giants with last Sunday night’s 10-7 defeat as 3.5-point road favorites with BetAnySports. Of more concern to bettors is that Dallas has now failed to cover in its last three contests. It is still a profitable 4-1-1 ATS at home this season and the total has now stayed UNDER in eight of its first 13 games of the year.

Much has been made of the play of rookie quarterback Dak Prescott this season in place of veteran Tony Romo, but he could be running out of stream down the stretch of a long season. Prescott has not thrown for more than 200 yards in any of his last three starts and in Sunday night’s loss to New York his completion rate plummeted to just 45.9 percent. This could be a make or break game for him in the Cowboys’ efforts to secure the top playoff seed in the NFC.

Tampa Bay at Dallas Free Game Pick

Conventional wisdom would dictate that you go with the hotter team in this matchup, but I am going to still lay the seven points at BetAnySports and bet on Dallas to bounce back with a convincing win at home as the whole team gets back to its winning form.
