The Ben Roethlisberger era in Pittsburgh has finally come to an end as he retired at the end of last season. It will be the first time in 18 seasons that the team will be without the future Hall of Famer. They signed quarterback Mitchell Trubuisky as a temporary replacement. In the draft, they selected quarterback, Kenny Pickett, from the University of Pittsburgh and he along with Trubuisky, will compete for the starting job. They also drafted wide receiver, George Pickens, from Georgia. This signing is important because they lost wide-receiver Juju Smith-Schuster during free agency. Head coach Mike Tomlin has stated that the starters will play in this preseason game.

I expect the Steelers to dominate this game. They have a better defense than the Seahawks and have an all-around better roster as well. Their only positional concern is quarterback, which is a similar problem for the Seahawks. Since this game is being played in Pittsburgh, I think the Steelers want to start their new era of quarterback play with a win and give their fans something to look forward to.
