If you had to pick just one regular season game to watch this season, it would be this one. The Eagles and Chiefs are arguably the two best teams in the NFL, and enter Monday’s highly anticipated contest with a combined record of 15-3. The Eagles are on a 3-game winning streak and are 4-1 on the road, while the Chiefs are coming off a bounce-back victory and are 4-1 at home. It’s bound to be a close game, and while it seems like a tough call, here we will navigate the odds and provide helpful betting tips so that you walk away with a great payout in this Eagles vs. Chiefs showdown.

Eagles vs. Chiefs: Best Player Prop

Jalen Hurts, Eagles QB, Under 236.5 Passing Yards (-130)

Jalen Hurts is a phenomenal quarterback. After leading the Eagles to the Super Bowl last year, Hurts is putting in another successful season, leading Philly to the best record in the NFL at 8-1. Hurts and the Eagles came up short in the Super Bowl, but on Monday night he will get a chance to exact his revenge against the team that denied him a Super Bowl ring. Hurts will face the Kansas City Chiefs in a must watch Monday night matchup and potential Super Bowl LVIII preview.

Jalen Hurts has a career record of 34-19-1 (win-rate: 62.96%) but he is 0-2 against the Kansas City Chiefs. This season, Hurts is averaging 260.8 yards per game, and he has 22 total touchdowns (15 passing, 7 rushing), but he’ll face a Chiefs defense giving up the 4th-fewest passing yards per game (176.0). The Eagles have been a run-first offense most of the year, and will likely need to rely on their potent rushing attack to move the ball against Kansas City. Hurts is the focal point of the Eagles offense, but the 4th-year QB doesn’t mind taking a backseat to the running game if it results in a win. Philadelphia is going to ground-and-pound against the Chiefs, and while Hurts will have a characteristically solid game, and may get involved in the running game himself, he will throw for less than 236.5 passing yards.

Take the Under on Jalen Hurts’ 236.5 passing yards prop. This bet is priced at -130, which means you can risk $130 to win $100, for a total payout of $230, if Jalen Hurts records less than 236.5 passing yards.

Eagles vs. Chiefs Game Predictions

In a clash of the titans like matchup, I am going with the Philadelphia Eagles to win the game. It’s going to be a barn burner, but the Eagles will come out on top, and Jalen Hurts will get his first career win against Patrick Mahomes. The Chiefs defense is better than Philadelphia’s, but the Eagles offense is better than Kansas City’s. In a shootout, back-and-forth type matchup, I’d take the superior offense. The Eagles are averaging 28.0 points per game, while the Chiefs come in with 23.1 points per game, and while they will almost certainly hit the over on 45.5 total points, the Eagles will have the ball last, drive down the field, and pull off an incredible win over the reigning Super Bowl champions.

Moneyline Pick: Philadelphia Eagles (+120)

ATS Pick: Philadelphia Eagles (+2.5)

O/U Pick: Over (45.5 total points)

Prediction: Eagles 34; Chiefs 31
