Missouri Tigers Break Into Top-10
It’s an exciting time for Missouri football. The Tigers are 8-2 and come in at No. 9 on the CFP rankings. It’s the first time since 2013 that the Missouri Tigers have broken into the College Football top-10. Mizzou takes on the Florida Gators this weekend. Florida is having a down season. At 5-5, the Gators are unranked and have lost 3 in-a-row. They are 3-4 against conference opponents, and have one of the worst defenses in the SEC, allowing 27.40 points per game. Missouri is heavily favored to win, but by how much is the question.
I’m going with the Missouri Tigers to cover the spread, which is currently set at 11 points. Missouri’s offense is explosive, putting up 32.8 points per game, but the Tigers defense is no joke either, limiting opponents to 22.3 points. Missouri is coming off a blowout win over Tennessee where the Tigers held the Volunteers to just 7 points. Tennessee is averaging over 30 points per game this season, which goes to show how dominant Mizzou’s defense can be. Florida is struggling, giving up 43.3 points per game across their last 4 matchups. Saturday’s contest could be another blowout win for the Tigers.
