Jags and Saints clash on primetime

The Jaguars have looked pretty solid this season going 4-2 and are currently on a 3 game win streak with their biggest win coming against the Bills in London. They lost back to back games to the Chiefs and Texans but have since looked like one of the better squads in the AFC. This offense has looked solid this year and is very balanced and ranked 13th in total offense through 6 weeks. On the other side the defense has been decent at best but have been terrible against the pass ranking 31st against the pass this year. If this team stays hot there’s no reason they shouldn’t be able to take down the Saints on TNF. 

The Saints have been very up and down this year but currently sit 3-3 and tied for second in their division. This team has not been able to get consistency personnel wise. Kamara was suspended for the first few games and quarterback Derek Carr has been dealing with a shoulder injury and has missed some time. In Kamara and Carr’s first game together they destroyed the Patriots 34-0 but then dropped a close one 20-13 to the Texans last week. The offense has been the problem. They are ranked 20th and lean slightly more on the pass than run. The defense has been stellar ranking top 5 in the league but will have their hands full in this one.

Take the Saints in this game. The Jaguars are on a 3 game winning streak but their hectic schedule will catch up to them in this one. Lawrence is questionable with a knee injury and two of his offensive lineman join him on the injury report.
