Eagles look to start season off right against Lions
The Lions offseason was highlighted by being the main team on Hard Knocks. They go into this season hoping that another year of development for their young core makes them more competitive this season. The Lions have scrappy team and I think they compete with some teams this year.
The Eagles made a huge splash this season as they went out and acquired star WR A.J. Brown from the Titans. They are hoping he will help them win the NFC East behind Jalen Hurts’ arm. The Eagles also have a good defense that will cause trouble for a lot of teams.
The Lions are a very scrappy team that over the last year has played teams very close. I like them to keep this game close here, especially at home. The Eagles are good but were inconsistent last year and I don’t know how this offense is going to mesh yet. I think the Lions will play with their fans behind them and attempt to control the trenches.
