The Browns are coming off a tumultuous offseason where they traded and extended former Houston Texans QB Deshaun Watson to a massive deal. They will be without him for the first 11 games though as he will be serving a suspension.

The Panthers will be looking to improve on last season as they went 5-12 and finished last in the division. They added QB Baker Mayfield from the Browns and are hoping he can be their franchise quarterback.

I like the Panthers to win this game. I think Baker Mayfield is being slightly underrated. These teams are pretty evenly matched and I think this game should be a pick em at a neutral site so getting the Panthers as a pick em at home is great. The Panthers have a good defensive line and I think they will get after Jacoby Brissett. I think this game will be close but ultimately it will come down to the QB play and right now the Panthers have the advantage.
