The AFC has become a wild west for playoff spots. The AFC West, in particular, has seen division-leading Kansas City falter with its questionable defense.
In any case, we have the AFC West team on the rise at home this weekend, as the Oakland Raiders with be taking on the Cincinnati Bengals, who have yet to notch a win all season.
The Raiders are fighting to stay in the hunt for a Wild Card spot and could potentially overtake the Chiefs for the division title. We will help you break down the matchup heading into Sunday and let you know where to place your best bets.
Bengals at Raiders Overview
There have not been a whole lot of highlights for the Bengals this season. They are coming off a game where Baltimore’s Lamar Jackson was able to make a highlight reel out of them. The Ravens ran away with that game, and it was never close, winning 49-13.
Tyler Boyd has been able to be consistent on the outside, being a reliable target for whichever quarterback happens to be under center. For the Bengals, they have a number of question marks all over the field, so it will be tough for them to have a chance to win any game this whole season.
For the Raiders, they were once the laughingstock in the NFL in the midst of the Antonio Brown saga, but coach Jon Gruden has got them playing well and boasts one of the best rookie classes in the NFL, headlined by Josh Jacobs.
Jacobs looks like he will be a franchise back for the next decade and might have been one of the biggest steals of the first round of last year’s draft. He has averaged nearly 100 yards rushing per game and has seven rushing touchdowns on the season.
Coming into this game, our friends at BetAnySports have the Raiders favored at home by -10.5. Personally, I was thinking that Oakland would have drawn closer to a two-touchdown favorite, but double-digits is a lot for any NFL team.
Bengals at Raiders Free Game Prediction
Honestly, there have not been a lot of bright spots for the Bengals all season. They have given us little to no reason to believe that they will right this ship.
Take Oakland in this game and make it easy for yourself. Jacobs should be able to have a field day. Make sure to lock in your bets before kickoff!
