OK, let’s get to our UCLA vs NC St picks prediction.

This year’s Holiday Bowl features two teams that head into tonight’s game with a ton of momentum.

For NC State, the team has won four of its last five games to improve to 9-3. A win tonight would give the Wolfpack double-digit wins in a single season for just the second time in program history and the first since future NFL QB Philip Rivers led the team to an 11-3 record way back in 2002.

As for UCLA, the Bruins rattled off three straight wins to end the regular season at 8-4, marking its first winning season since 2016.

The two key players in the Holiday Bowl are the quarterbacks. For NC State, Devin Leary had a monster season, throwing for 3,433 yards with 35 touchdowns and just five interceptions while his counterpart on the other side of the field tonight – Dorian Thompson-Robinson – is a dual threat QB for UCLA, who tossed 21 TDs against just 6 interceptions.

Both offenses come into this game playing the best they have all season and we think that carries into tonight’s game. The Bruins are averaging 32.5 points a game in their last four games while NC State has scored 30 or more points in four of its last fives, with their 27-21 win over Clemson the only game in which they didn’t top 30 points.

Since Oct. 23, these two teams have combined to go over the total in 8 of 11 games, with an average of 64 points per game, so put it all together and we are expecting the scoreboard operator to be very busy tonight. Go over 60 points in tonight’s Holiday Bowl!
