LA Tech Bulldogs Take On FIU Panthers

In a battle between the Bulldogs and Panthers, the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs are favored to come out on top. The Conference USA rivals are quite familiar with one another. Since 2013, they have faced off 5 times, with LA Tech leading the series 4-1. However, in their last matchup, which took place Oct. 28, 2022, FIU upset the Bulldogs with a 42-34 victory. 

LA Tech will be out for redemption, and are likely to find it. The Bulldogs are undefeated against FIU at home (2-0), and will keep that streak alive. The Bulldogs have the 4th-best odds to win Conference USA (+900), while the FIU Panthers have the 7th-best odds, priced at +8000. LA Tech is clearly the better team, and in their season opener, I expect them to jump out to an early lead and never look back.
