Matchup: Sacramento Kings vs. Detroit Pistons
The NBA season continues with a matchup between the Sacramento Kings and Detroit Pistons. The Kings will hit the road to face the struggling Pistons tomorrow night. Sacramento is 21-14 overall (5th in West), but the Kings are 8-7 on the road. Fortunately for Sacramento, they’re playing the Pistons. Detroit is having an historically terrible season, as they are an abysmal 3-33 (15th in East), making them the worst team in the NBA.
After losing 28-straight games, the Pistons now have the longest losing streak in a single season in NBA history. It’s the only notable accomplishment of Detroit’s season, but not one worth celebrating. The Pistons snapped the historic losing streak on Saturday, December 30th, but have since lost 4-straight. The Kings have struggled recently, going 5-5 in their last 10, including a 33-point loss to the Pelicans on Sunday, but Sacramento is fully expected to beat the Pistons. In this article we will help you navigate the odds and provide helpful betting tips so that you walk away with a great payout in this Kings vs. Pistons matchup.

Kings vs. Pistons Game Predictions
I’m going with the safe bet, and taking the Sacramento Kings to win the game and cover the spread. The Pistons have an 8.3% win-rate, making them the riskiest play in the NBA. It doesn’t matter whether they are home or away, Detroit can’t win basketball games. Poor defense is the main issue for the Pistons, as they gave up 128.2 points per game in their last 10. Detroit’s offense put up 119.7 points per game over that same stretch, which is a great average, but when you allow nearly 130 points to the opposition, wins will be hard to come by.
The Kings are one of the best scoring teams in the NBA, averaging 120.0 points over their last 5 games, and scoring 130+ in 2 of their last 3. Sacramento is coming off a blowout loss to the Pelicans, but it was a rare misstep for the Kings, as their top-scorer De’Aaron Fox recorded just 3 points. Sacramento will be looking to bounce back with a win after the rough outing, and there’s no team easier to beat than the Detroit Pistons.
Moneyline Pick: Sacramento Kings (-355)
ATS Pick: Sacramento Kings (-8.0)
O/U Pick: Under (245.5)
Prediction: Kings 125; Pistons 115
