Matchup: Milwaukee Bucks vs. Sacramento Kings

The NBA regular season continues with a cross-conference matchup between the Milwaukee Bucks and Sacramento Kings. The Bucks are 2nd in the East with a 42-23 record, posting a 7-3 record in their last 10, and are coming off a huge 124-117 win over the Clippers, snapping Milwaukee’s 2-game skid. On the Sacramento side, the Kings are 7th in the West (half a game back from the top-6), won 6 of their last 10, but lost 104-112 to the Rockets on Sunday. The first matchup between the Bucks and Kings was an absolute barn burner that ended 143-142 in Milwaukee’s favor. I’m expecting another tightly contested matchup, and so are the oddsmakers, as the spread is set at just 1-point.

Below you’ll find all of our picks for the Bucks vs. Kings, including stats, scores, and betting advice. We’ll help you navigate the odds and provide helpful betting tips for Tuesday’s matchup between the Bucks and Kings.

Bucks vs. Kings History

Tuesday night marks the 156th all-time regular season matchup between the Milwaukee Bucks and Sacramento Kings. The series began in 1968, and since 1981, the Bucks and Kings have faced each other twice a season, and they have never met in the playoffs. Historically Milwaukee has the advantage, posting a 97-58 (win-rate: 62.6%) record over the Kings. Tuesday is the second and final matchup of the season, as the Bucks are looking to complete the sweep, while the Kings are hoping to even the score. However the Bucks may still have the edge over Sacramento, as Milwaukee is 8-2 in their last 10 games against the Kings on the road, winning 7-straight in Sacramento.

Bucks vs. Kings Game Predictions

The Bucks and Kings matchup well, which is why the oddsmakers are essentially calling this one a 50/50 toss-up. It’ll be a close game, but Milwaukee has the better team, so I’m going with the Bucks in this one. Milwaukee’s x-factor is always 2x MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, who’s averaging 30.8 points (3rd), 11.2 rebounds (6th), and 6.5 assists (15th) per game, putting him in the running for the 3rd MVP of his career. Stopping Giannis is nearly impossible, and the Kings porous defense doesn’t stand a chance. Even if Giannis is somehow kept in check, the Bucks have a veteran scorer in Damian Lillard, who averaged 28.0 PPG in his last 5, and put up 29 on the Kings in their first matchup.

I also like the under here. It’s tempting to take the over because these are two high-scoring teams that combined for 285 total points in their first matchup, but I’m not expecting another offensive spectacle. Milwaukee’s defense has improved tenfold over their last 10 games, giving up just 107.0 opponent points per game. The Kings on the other hand are in a scoring slump, as Sacramento failed to eclipse 110-points in 4 of their last 7 games. Milwaukee will lock the Kings down and sneak away with the win in this low-scoring rematch.

In summary, here are my picks for the Bucks vs. Kings Tuesday night matchup:

  • Moneyline Pick: Milwaukee Bucks (-105)

If you take the Bucks Moneyline (-105): You risk $105 to win $100, for a total payout of $205, if the Bucks win straight up.

  • ATS Pick: Milwaukee Bucks (+1)

If you take the Bucks to Cover the +1.0 Spread (-110): You risk $110 to win $100, for a total payout of $210, if the Bucks win the game, or lose by just 1-point.

  • O/U Pick: Under (235)

If you take the Under on 235 total points (-110): You risk $110 to win $100, for a total payout of $210, if the Bucks and Kings combine for less than 235 points.
