Clippers Remain Winless With Harden
The LA Clippers have fallen on tough times. At 3-7, the Clippers have yet to win a game with 10x All-Star James Harden on the team. Harden has played 5 games with the Clippers since joining the team in early November, and since then LA is 0-5. The Clippers will take on the Houston Rockets, Harden’s old team, who are finding a lot of success this season. Houston is 6-3, and after finishing with just 22 wins last year, the Rockets look like a brand new team. Houston’s Head coach Ime Udoka has done a great job. They are young, quick, and could surprise the aging LA Clippers.
I’m going with the Houston Rockets in this one. LA is floundering. Their Big-4 has yet to pay off, and while it’s only been 5 games, it hasn’t looked good. The Clippers have the name recognition, but time is against them. James Harden, Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and Russell Westbrook have a combined age of 134 years. Houston has the perfect mix of young and old, and it’s working. The Rockets have won 6-straight, while the Clippers have lost 6-straight. Teams are underestimating this Rockets squad because of last year’s poor performance, but this isn’t the same team, and Houston is proving everyone wrong.
