It’s Friday, April 19th and this is our free NBA prediction for the Bulls vs. Heat Play-In game. 

The game is in Miami and tips-off at 7:00 PM Eastern.

So let’s break this one down…

The Heat narrowly lost to the Sixers (104-105) on Wednesday, putting Miami in the 8th seed knockout game for the second straight season. 

The Heat will face the Chicago Bulls, who knocked the Hawks out of the play-in after a dominating 15-point victory. 

The winner of the Heat vs. Bulls will advance to the playoffs as the 8th seed, and the loser will be sent home. 

Miami is favored over Chicago, priced at -125, but with the news of Jimmy Butler’s knee injury I’m not sure the Heat can beat the Bulls without him.  

Butler sprained his MCL against the Sixers, and is expected to miss several weeks, leaving Miami severely shorthanded against a Bulls team that’s playing very well. 

Jimmy Butler is the heart and soul of the Heat, and his absence tilts the scale in Chicago’s favor.
