Will They Blow It 

The Chicago White Sox need a win and they need it now. For a team that had such high expectations as they did going into this season, having top five odds to make the playoffs, they have severely underperformed. They currently have a record of 28 wins and 31 losses and currently sit six games behind the division leading Twins, and three games behind a wild card spot. The White Sox were huge favorites to win their division, and now that doesn’t seem even remotely possible. If they want to make a turn around, they’re going to have to take full advantage of not only this game against the Tigers, but the entire series. 

The Tigers are one of the two teams under them in the division, and if they don’t win this series against them, they’re looking at a massive uphill climb as they have to play the Astros in the three game series next and then the Toronto Blue Jays, both big time playoff teams. This game will be a hard one for the White Sox to win as they are going up against Alex Faedo of the Tigers, who has been pretty good this season, having an ERA of 2.92 and 28 strikeouts in 7 starts, but expect them to feel the pressure and get the job done.
