The New York Yankees really are looking like a poor baseball team, and for relatively the first time in this season, they have us questioning should this team be the favorite, and are they even the favorite in their own state? The Yankees are coming off a three-game losing streak, but that three-game losing streak is tiny compared to their last couple weeks of baseball. They have lost three other last four games, six out of their last seven and a grand total of nine out of the last 12. In their last game against the Rays that they lost by a final score of 3-1, it was the first time they had scored a run in three games. Now the entire league has been put on notice that the Yankees are bleeding and everyone is out to take their pound of flesh back on this team that had their way with the league early on. Although the Blue Jays are relatively struggling right now as well as they’re coming off straight losses at the hands of the Orioles and Guardians, they will be the latest to take advantage of these Yankees. Toronto still owns a wild card spot, so it is a nightmare matchup for the Yankees right now against the divisional opponents. Toronto will be sending out Jose Berrios to start for them, who has had a record of 8-5 this season.
