Slumping Brewers try to regain division

The Brewers are in shambles right now. Before finally winning their last game they had lost eight straight games. They have now lost the division lead to the Cardinals. They sit at 34-28 and are one game behind the Cardinals in the division. 

The Mets are now the best team in the NL. They are the only team at 40 wins in the NL. Despite going through multiple injuries they are still trucking along. They are coming off of a win over the Angels. They now finally go home back to New York after a western road trip. 

It is incredible how much pitching will change lines. The Mets are favored in every game this series except this one. That’s mostly because Corbin Burnes is on the mound for the Brewers, the reigning NL Cy Young Award winner. The match will have David Peterson on the mound who has a 3.0 era and 3-0 record. I know these are two good offenses but these pitchers have been really good this season. I expect this game to be a low-scoring affair.
