Sandy looks to continue Cy Young run

The Marlins have now won three straight games. They’re inching closer to 500 as they are now 32-36 on the season. We told you guys his team was underperforming and now it looks like they’re finally regressing back to the means. 

The Mets lead in the NL East has now dwindled down to 4 games. They have lost two straight to the Astros and now travel down to Miami. The Braves keep gaining on them. The Mets are now 45-26 on the season but are still holding on to first place in the NL.

The reason the Marlins are favored in this game is simply because of Sandy Alcantara. Alcantara is 7-2 on the season with a 1.72 era. Even more impressive is that over his last eight starts he is 5-0 with a 1.00 ERA. He’ll be facing taijuan Walker who is 5-2 on the season with a 2.88 era. Any game that Alcantara is pitching in the Marlins should be favored enough to be at least -150.
