The Astros have now won three straight games. They are have won seven of their last ten and are first in the AL West at 43-25. They have the second best record in the AL. A big part of their team is Yordan Alavarez who has the highest WRC+ in the league. 

The Yankees are still the Yankees. They now sit at 51-18. They have won eight of their last ten games. They are coming off of a win over the Rays. 

Verlander will be on the mound for the Astros. The Astros should be favored in any game where Verlander is pitching. He is the AL Cy Young favorite right now with a 8-3 record and a 2.30 ERA. The Astros at +1.5 here have way too much value to not take them. Plus with Severino on the mound for the YankeeI think these offenses will struggle.
