Pirates look to stop skidding

The Pirates have now lost six straight games. They are now  24-34 on the season and are regressing. As we said earlier in the season we thought this team was worse than their record showed as their run differential is really bad. That is really showing now.

The Cardinals are 34-27 on the season. They have passed the Brewers in the division as the Brewers have dropped eight of their last ten games. The Cards are coming off a loss to the Reds.

I am expecting a bunch of runs in this game. The Pirates will have JT Brubaker on the mound and he is 0-6 on the season with a 4.60 era. Matthew Liberatore is on the mound for the Cards and he has only made three starts this season but has given up four runs in two of those. The Cards offense is great as they rank sixth in runs scored and they should destroy Brubaker.
