MLBs best team host rival Rays

The Yankees have been on fire this season. They are on a 120-win pace as they sit at 45-16. They have won five in a row and nine of their last ten games. The next closest team is the Mets who sit at 41-22. This Yankees team has cemented itself as the World Series favorites.

The Rays have been overshadowed in the AL East by the Yankees’ amazing start and the Blue Jays resurgence, but they are still having a good season. They sit at 35-26 and are third in the AL East, 10 games behind the Yankees and one behind the Jays.

I think the Yankees are going to dominate this game. They have a clear pitching advantage. Luis Severino is on the mound for them and he is 4-1 on the season with a 2.80 era. Plus, over his last two starts he has gone 13 innings and only given up one run. The Rays will have Josh Fleming on the mound. Fleming has not been good this season as he has a 2-3 record and a 6.3 era.
