Mets Continue 

The Mets need a win tonight. They are coming off a series against the Braves that basically decided who would win their division, and be the number two seed, and the Braves got the best of that series, where they won two of the middle games. That has Atlanta currently a game ahead of New York, and at the time of this video, the two teams are playing the final game of their series. If they win that game, they’ll need to win these final games of the season against the Nats to fend off Atlanta, and if they lose, they’ll need these wins even more to keep them having a slight shot to win the division still. 

Lucky for them, they are playing Washington, who has been a poor team all year. They have the worst record in the entire league, and haven’t played any better recently. Their first game of the series between the nationals and the Mets became postponed due to bad weather so tonight will be the Mets first chance to get back on track to catching the Braves.
