Marlins visit Cardinals

 

The Marlins are coming off of a huge walk-off win over the Mets. With two outs in the bottom of the ninth Nick Fortes hit a walk-off home run. The Marlins are now 33-38 on the season. We’ve said multiple times that this team is better than their record and hopefully we see them turn it around soon as their run differential is still +15.

The Cardinals are now 41-34 on the season. They are coming off of a loss to the Cubs. They have now fallen back behind the Brewers for first place in the NL Central. 

I am going to take the over in this game. Braxton Garrett is on the mound for the Marlins. He is coming off of a start where he gave up nine hits. Dakota Hudson is on the mound for the Cardinals. Hudson is coming off of a bad start where he took the loss in an effort where he gave up five runs. These pitchers have been struggling as of late. I also like the Cards in this one. They clearly have the better offense in this game and I think they prevail.
