The Marlins are coming off of an emotional win over the Cardinals. Sandy Alcantara was on the mound against the team that traded him and going into the ninth the Marlins were down 3-2. With two outs, Avisail Garcia hit a go-ahead home run to eventually win the game. Alcantara threw a complete game. Hopefully this is a spark plug for them.

The Nationals are one of the worst teams in baseball. They are currently 29-49 on the season. They are actually playing great by their standards as they have won six of their last ten games.

The Marlins will have Trevor Rogers on the mound. After a great year in his rookie season he is experiencing a bad sophomore slump.
