The Marlins have not started the season off too badly. They are 15-19 and are playing decent baseball behind their incredible pitching staff. It seems their pitchers always deliver gems and then they either get no run support or the bullpen blows it. They have the ninth lowest ERA in the majors this year and need some help.

The Nationals have been horrible this year. They are 12-24 on the season and have lost seven of their last ten games. Juan Soto is a big part of this as last year’s MVP runner up is only hitting 260 and even though he has eight home runs he only has 11 RBIs. 

Both of these offenses haven’t been especially good this season as both of these teams rank in the middle of the pack when it comes to runs scored. I don’t think there will be a lot of runs scored in this game as these offenses are struggling.
