Now let’s get to our Minnesota Twins vs Kansas City Royals prediction.
Can they Grab Their Last Chance?
The Minnesota twins have 23 games left in their schedule for this season and each and every one of them counts. This was a team that led their division for the vast majority of the season but we’re overtaken by the Cleveland guardians about a month ago and haven’t been able to get the lead back. When you look at the wildcard spot this team is nine games out so they can’t realistically get that but they are 4.5 games back from their division lead as previously stated. But that doesn’t tell the whole story as although they’re only 4.5 games back they were just 2.0 games back a couple games ago before they dropped three straight games and the guardians won two in a row. The twins have to take advantage of this matchup against the poor Royals as they have a five game series against the Guardians next.
The Kansas City Royals don’t have much to play for in this game at all. The Royals have lost four of their last six games and have one of the worst records in the MLB this season. Kansas City will be sending out Chris Bubic Who has a record of 2–11 and an ERA well over 5.00. I expect him to get his 12th loss of the season against a twins team fighting to keep their playoff dreams alive.
