The Atlanta Braves have been one of the hottest teams in the MLB for about a month now. They started the month off on a 14 game winning streak, and are now the winners of 8 of their last 10 games. They lost a couple games in a row last week to the Cubs, and it seemed like this team might fall back to the mediocre play that plagued them early on, but they quickly responded by destroying the Cubs 6-0 in the last game of that series and then winning their first game against the Giants. The Giants are a far better team than the Cubs, so it will take an effort like the last game against the Cubs if they want to stay hot. 

Unfortunately for the Braves, the pitching matchup for them will be too much for them to handle in this one. Carlos Rodon of the Giants has started 13 games this season, and to this point has a 6-4 record with an ERA of 2.84. In his 6th year in the league, the lefty out of North Carolina State is having his best season yet, and the Braves will learn that firsthand.
