The Braves finished the season at 100-62. They tied with the Mets but won the tiebreaker to win the division and stay out of the Wild Card round. That obviously proved big as the Mets were knocked out by the Padres. The Braves have had a while to rest for this series.

The Phillies are coming off of a massive series win over the Cards. Despite being the six seed and playing on the road they beat the Cardinals in two games to move on. They now face their division rivals in a five game series for a right to go to the NLCS.

These two teams were pretty even on the season as the Braves won the season series 11-8. The difference here though, is the pitching. The Phillies are going with their third starter in Ranger Suarez since they pitched their top two guys in the Cardinals series. The Braves will go with Max Fried, who was 14-7 on the season with a 2.48 ERA. I think the Phillies will come out slow in this one. The Braves have the experience advantage and the pitching advantage.
