The Twins are 28-26 on the season and have the number one spot in the AL Central at the moment. This isn’t very impressive as the division is very weak but they still are in the playoffs as of right now. They have struggled lately going 4-6 in their last ten games.
The Astros are back to their usual selves. They are 31-22 on the season and are 7-3 in their last ten games. Surprisingly though, they finally have some competition in their division as the Rangers have been great this season and lead the division by two games.
Take the Astros in this one. The Stros are going to have their young phenom Hunter Brown on the bump who is 5-1 on the season with a 3.12 ERA. He will face Louie Varland who has been ok at best with a 2-1 record and a 4.24 ERA on the season. The Stros are at home, are the better team, and have the better pitcher. All signs point to the Astros taking care of business in this one.
