NBA HOT & NOT BETTING UPDATE- FEB. 26
The final week of February helps set the stage for the final full month of the NBA regular season in March. The race for the playoffs is on as well as the race for a high lottery pick at the opposite end of the standings. This provides NBA bettors with some hot teams to go with and some not-so-hot teams to go against at BetAnySports.
When it comes to betting on the games, the three hottest teams all reside in the Northwest Division starting with the Minnesota Timberwolves. With Monday’s 112-105 victory against Sacramento as 3.5-point home favorites, they have posted a SU 4-1 mark in their last five games while covering against the spread at BetAnySports in their last six games. Minnesota will be on the road against Atlanta on Wednesday night.
The Utah Jazz have gone a spotty 3-3 SU over their last six outings, but after beating the Dallas Mavericks 125-109 on Saturday as heavy 11.5-point home favorites, they have covered in their last five outings. They will host the LA Clippers on Wednesday night. Portland joins the list with four covers in a row after beating Cleveland 123-110 on Monday night as a nine-point road favorite. The Trail Blazers continue this extended 10-game road trip with a stop in Boston on Wednesday night.
If you are looking for a pair of teams to go against this week, the best place to start that search is the state of Texas. San Antonio just wrapped up an eight-game road trip with a SU 1-7 record. The Spurs will face Detroit on Wednesday night at home after failing to cover in 10 of their last 11 games overall. This includes their last three games at home. Going back to the Mavericks’ loss to Utah on Saturday night, they have failed to cover the closing number in their last five games with a 1-6 mark both SU and ATS in their last seven contests. Dallas is home against Indiana on Wednesday.
