NBA HOT & NOT BETTING UPDATE- FEB. 12
Coming off last Thursday’s NBA trade deadline, things may have tightened up a bit at the top of the Eastern Conference standings in the race to the playoffs. However, the road to the 2019 NBA Finals in the Western Conference still goes through Golden State.
With Sunday’s 120-118 victory against Miami at home, the Warriors extended their current straight-up winning streak to four games. Going back to the end of December, they have won 17 of their last 19 games. As far as betting on Golden State, it has not been all that hot at 1-4 against the spread in its last five games after failing to cover as a heavy 13.5-point favorite in Sunday’s win. The Warriors return to action on Tuesday night as 8.5-point home favorites against Utah on OnlineSportsBet ’ betting line.
The Milwaukee Bucks’ lead in the East remains at one game over the Toronto Raptors. The Bucks (42-14) have won 13 of their last 15 games SU and they are 7-1 ATS in their last eight games. They will be on the road this Wednesday night against Indiana. Toronto brings a SU five-game winning streak into Wednesday’s home game against Washington. The Raptors (42-16) have failed to cover BetAnySports’ closing line in eight of their last 13 games.
A trio of teams top the NBA hot list this week with Indiana and Detroit in the East and Oklahoma City in the West all riding a four-game winning streak ATS. The Pacers have won their last six games SU and the Pistons are also 4-0 SU.
