The battle for the top spot in the NL Central rages on with just one game separating the top three teams in the standings. The Chicago Cubs and the St. Louis Cardinals are knotted at 57-50 with a 1-1 split in this week’s three-game series in St. Louis. The Cardinals are -125 favorites for Thursday’s rubber match. The Cubs return home to host the Milwaukee Brewers for three games this weekend. The Brewers are one game off the pace at 57-52.
