As a fan of NHL hockey, I feel robbed. We have all been robbed of the amazing series between the Lightning and the Panthers that we were told we were going to get. Instead, we’ve had three rather boring games, in which the Lightning have dominated. It’s understandable, considering the fact that the Lightning are the defending two time champions, but the Panthers were the best team this season by a margin, and the fact that they’ve only managed three goals through three games despite being top five in goals scored per game throughout the year is insane. We all know that Andrei Vasilevsky is most definitely one of the best goalies in the NHL, even some would say the best, but the fact that he is averaging a .971 save percentage in a series against a very good offensive Florida Panthers team is nothing short of remarkable.
We’ve told you to ride with the cats on two of the previous games, but expect this team to be depleted mentally, so the Lightning will run away with this one.
