Nashville Predators Winless on the Road

The Nashville Predators on the other hand, have stumbled out of the gate. The Predators are 1-3 (2 pts) and average 2.25 goals and 3.50 goals against per game. The Rangers are favored to win and will look to collect their second straight win, while the Predators are hoping to avoid a third straight loss. 

I like the New York Rangers in this one. The Rangers went 1-1-0 last year against the Predators, but lead the all-time series 18-13-1-2 over Nashville. New York was a postseason contender last year, while the Predators failed to make the playoffs. Additionally, Nashville is 0-2-0 on the road this season and post a -5 goal differential, while the Rangers are 1-0-0 at home, with 7 fewer goals allowed than the Predators. Nashville is tied for the most goals allowed in the Western Conference (14), while New York averages the 8th-most shots per game with 33.7. The Rangers will exploit the Predators lackluster defense, and take home the win.
