The Western Conference’s 6th place Dallas Stars take on the 10th place Nashville Predators on Monday, April 3rd (8:30 PM EST, NHLPP/ESPN+). Dallas is a -1.5 goal favorite with the Moneyline priced at -200. Nashville is the underdog but are favored to keep the score within 1 goal; their moneyline is priced at +165. The Stars are 3-0-0 against the Predators this year, lighting the lamp 4 times per game and recording a goal differential of +8. Dallas has a 12 point lead over Nashville in the Central Division, and the Predators are not expected to upset the Stars on Monday.

The Dallas Stars are fighting for the top spot in the West’s Central Division. It’s a compelling race between the Minnesota Wild, Colorado Avalanche, and Dallas Stars, who are all within 1 point of each other. The Stars are 41-21-14 with 96 points, and because of win totals, Dallas is currently 3rd in the Central Division, yet they are tied with the Avalanche in points. The Stars went 5-4-1 (11 pts) in their last 10 games, but were 10-4-1 (21 pts) in March and have the best goal differential (+50) in the division. Dallas is highly likely to make the playoffs but continue to push for the best seeding possible and will certainly want to defeat the Predators on Monday to complete the sweep.
