Madison Square Garden Gets a Win
Tonight, the Pittsburgh Penguins and New York Rangers both hope to keep their seasons alive in one of many game sevens of this Stanley Cup playoffs. It’s amazing how different of a team the Pittsburgh Penguins are without Sidney Crosby as they started this series with him and quickly jumped out to a 3-1 lead, but since he went down with a concussion, two 5-3 losses have but them in a position they never would’ve thought up heading into a Game seven on the road. Some good news for them however, is that Crosby was seen practicing with the team in a full uniform yesterday, which bodes well for his status tonight.
Crosby has scored nine points (two goals, seven assists) in five games this series, tied with forward Jake Guentzel (seven goals, two assists) for the most on the Penguins. Crosby had a goal and two assists in Game 4, a 7-2 win for Pittsburgh, to reach 200 points in the Stanley Cup Playoffs (71 goals, 129 assists) in 179 games.
With that being said, a concussion is no joke, so don’t expect the Penguins to get the same Sidney Crosby they are used to and would need to win this. The Rangers are riding high from their two victories, and at home in Madison Square Garden, the crowd will be electric and propel their team to victory.
For Our expert New York Rangers vs Pittsburgh Penguins Prediction, take the Rangers to win.
